How to report an absence

Hello Everyone,

On the 8th January we made some changes to how you report absence. This is to ensure a faster and more secure process.  

What changed?

We are now encouraging all users to utilise our student and parent portals. This is a safe, secure and efficient method of reporting absence via our portal system. 

The parent portal can also be used to monitor your young person's progress and attendance. All parents/carers should have an account to be in the best position to support learning. 

How do I report absence now?

Students must now report their absence via their Student Portal.  

Parents are encouraged to report absence via the Parent Portal.

You can create a parent portal account via the button below.

If parents are unable to use the portal for any reason, you can call 0208 319 9742. Please note you will be unable to leave a voicemail message so please only call if you have issues using the portal. 

Where can I find the portal or report an absence?

On a mobile device, open the website then click menu and scroll to the bottom where you will see 'Report Absence'.

If you're on a lap/desktop you will see a green 'Report Absence' button in the top right corner of the website.
