Town Hall Debate - 28th March 2017
On March 28th 2017, our executive student council joined at Woolwich Town Hall for a fun and healthy, yet conventional, parliamentary debate.
They discussed poignant political matters like Brexit, and other topics that they felt are relevant to them and the society in which they live in.
From this they gained both life and employability skills, which will help them both within their studies at SHC and their daily life outside of education.
They then took their formal discussion back to the classroom where they involved their peers, and passed on their new found knowledge.
The student council had such a good time that they are hoping to return, or even involve a different group of students.
