Shooters Hill Sixth Form College is proud to share the success of a recent visit to the House of Lords, where three of our students and three staff members were recognised for their exceptional contributions to teaching and learning.

The event was part of the annual South London Best Learner Awards, hosted by the Committee of South London Principals (CoSLP) and organised by London South East Colleges. The awards celebrate academic excellence and inspirational teaching across the region.

During a special afternoon tea at the prestigious venue, students Mercylyn, Amer, and Phoebe received Best Learner Awards in recognition of their academic achievements, dedication, and commitment to their studies. In addition, staff members Paul McDermott, Rukshan Begum, and Alex Kemp were honoured as the most influential teachers in the students’ educational journeys at the college.
