Important update regarding face coverings

Dear Student,

As part of our commitment to keeping students and staff at Shooters Hill Sixth Form College safe we have reviewed our policy on face coverings. From Thursday 10th of September, students and staff are expected to wear face coverings in corridors and communal areas inside all college buildings. Government guidance states that “people who cannot put on, wear or remove a face covering because of a physical or mental illness or impairment, or disability” are exempt for compulsory face coverings. If you believe this applies to you, please speak to your course tutor or PWT about this as soon as possible. Students are not expected to wear face coverings in classrooms and workshops, when eating or when outside the college buildings. In accordance with our dress policy, face coverings should not display a political statement, offensive language or reference to illegal activity.

Thank you
