Level 3 Extended Diploma Media Production
This course is ideal for students wishing to focus their studies on media. This pathway, in particular, is designed to appeal to students who wish to enter employment in the industry and, as the course offers study across a wide range of media, including, print, photography, film, radio and journalism.
Students will also have potential to apply for a broad range of study at HE. It is an exciting course of study that combines development of practical skills, which are embedded through theoretical analysis and culminating in the completing of an individual portfolio.

Course Content
The course can be taken broken down into two ways. A two year qualification which will gain the students the equivalent of 3 A-Levels, or a 1 Year course that will equate to 1 A- Level. The students will need to pass the first year in order to progress onto Year 2. The course does not have any exams and is constructed through theoretical coursework, planning and practical production. The course covers a range of Media and Film content as listed below:
