Computer Science & Game Development, Level 1

Course Information

COURSE OVERVIEW

Our Level 1 Computer Science & Game Development is a course designed to help reintroduce pupils to the educational process and acclimatise them to the demands of a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification. Its primary goal is to show pupils how to enjoy their education and provide them with the foundational personal skills they will need to be successful later on.

The course will also teach the software skills required for future success. Throughout the course, pupils will also create animations, develop simple games and learn basic IT skills, including:

• Animation
• Creation of online Books
• Learning how to use Canva
• Game design and character development
• Video creation

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To enrol on our Level 1 Computer Science & Game Development course, you’ll need: 

• A Grade 1 or 2 in GCSE Maths and English
• A keen interest in IT and Game Development and a willingness to learn
