Absence

REPORTING AN ABSENCE

Students or parents/carers are responsible for notifying the school of any student absence by messaging the class teacher or PDT via Teams or email, giving the reason for the non-attendance.

We are committed to ensuring excellent attendance by:

  • Setting the expectation that attendance and punctuality should be 100%
  • Taking early action to address patterns of absence or any students identified as ‘at risk’ due to frequent absences

HOW WE REPORT TO PARENTS & CARERS

  • You will receive a text message notifying them of any lesson absences
  • You will be informed of overall attendance through biannual reports
  • You can view attendance information through the Parent & Carer Portal (instructions below)
