Ready to Apply? Here’s What Happens Next
Applying to SHC is simple, and exciting! Whether you already know what you want to study or you're still exploring your options, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Step 1: Submit Your application
Start by filling out our online application form. It only takes a few minutes, and you can apply for more than one course if you’re still deciding.
Step 2: Come to an admissions event
Once we’ve received your application, we’ll invite you to an admissions event. This is your chance to meet our friendly tutors, explore the college, and chat with our support teams about everything from learning support to wellbeing and careers advice.
Step 3: Application decision
If your application is successful, we’ll send you an offer to join us. Congratulations!
If we feel that another course or level may better match your skills and future aspirations, we'll be in touch to discuss this with you.
Step 4: Experience a Taster Day
Before you start in September, you’ll be invited to a Taster Day in June or July. It’s a great way to get a feel for college life, meet other students, and try out your course.
