Health & Social Care, Level 2

Course Information

COURSE OVERVIEW

Our Level 2 Health & Social Care covers a range of key subject areas in health and social care including Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Rights and Communication, allowing learners to pursue an interest in chosen subject areas.

This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and provides direct progression to our Level 3 Health & Social Care course. Learners will attend placement in a real work environment to support their learning, and usually be able to achieve the qualification in one year. 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To enrol on our Level 2 Health & Social Care course, you’ll need: 

• 4 GCSEs at Grade 3-9, including a Grade 4 in either English or Maths, or achieved Level 1 Health & Social Care 
• An avid interest in caring for others
