Course Information

COURSE OVERVIEW

Our Level 1 course offers students an introduction to Business, however the main focus is on practical skills and tasks that place an emphasis on demonstrating what the students can do rather than what they know in theory. The qualifications give learners the opportunity to acquire and develop generic, transferable skills in order to complete tasks and demonstrate a level of achievement that enables them to progress to further learning.

The course is particularly useful for those who may wish to progress onto the Level 2. Attention to detail is a must for those wishing to progress and students will be provided with feedback and support in order to achieve high levels of quality work. The course is very much based around the individuals' journey of learning and progression with time allowed for reflection and improvement of work.

During this one-year course, you will study topics including:

• Being Organised
• Progression Plan
• Branding a Product
• Contributing to an Event
• Presenting a Business Idea

In addition to these core units, you will:

• Complete a Business Project to develop practical and creative business skills
• Enhance your Employability Skills to prepare for future courses or entry-level roles

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To enrol on our Level 1 Business course, you’ll need an interest in business.
