COURSE OVERVIEW

Our Level 2 Media course is for anyone interested in developing an understanding of the media and its role within society, as well as developing technical skills to produce your own media products.

The course provides an excellent foundation for further study, particularly at Level 3 vocational programmes. The practical element of the course also provides students with an opportunity to develop skills and techniques required to work professionally within the media industry.

The types of skills embedded in each unit include creative investigation and ideas generation, communication, using creative development processes, developing and applying practical skills and using productive working skills.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

4 GCSEs Grade 3 and above, including Maths and English.
