COURSE OVERVIEW

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the public services sector, focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. It is designed to help you build confidence and develop key employability skills that are highly valued by employers across the industry.

You will study a range of subjects including:

• The Role and Work of Public Services
• Working Skills in Public Services
• Citizenship, Society, and the Public Services
• Employment in the Uniformed Public Services

As part of your study programme, you will also complete a work experience placement, giving you valuable insight into real-world public service environments.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To enrol on our Level 2 Public Services course, you’ll need: 

• 4 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including Maths and English
• Applications are considered on an individual basis, ensuring the course aligns with your goals and previous experience
