Course Content

In order to complete the qualification the following topics are all compulsory:
- Health and safety
- Electrical principles
- Scientific principles
- Plumbing processes
- Cold water systems
- Hot water systems
- Sanitation
- Central heating systems
- Drainage systems
Practicals
All practical assessments will be undertaken internally in the college’s workshops and marked by the assessors.
There are a range of practical activities using a variety of materials and plumbing situations to ensure the student gains abroad range of experience to aid work placed activities.
Exams
The students will undertake nine external exams using the GOLA examination system.
